Re-discovering your beautiful music - Submitted December 26, 2001
About a week ago I checked a copy of the album Loggins & Messina out of the library. I used to own it and love it, and after years of not hearing it I decided to see what it was I remembered that I liked so much. I haven't stopped listening since then. I'm a baby boomer and a musician, but I have been away from the mainstream of western music, especially popular music, for the better part of the last 2 decades.
I just had to write and tell you that re-discovering your beautiful, sensitive, meaningful, skillful, flowing music has been an incredible experience. Not only do I remember now what I loved about it when I was younger, but I can't wait to hear all that you must have gone on to since then. That you care about the world, especially its children, is so refreshing. And children - well everyone - needs GOOD music.
God bless you.
Check out "Leap of Faith" too. Quantum leap.
