This film will take you deep inside Kenny’s creative process, exploring his extraordinary musical gifts, his phenomenal collaborations, his stunning ability to reinvent himself musically, his remarkable resiliency – past and present and the fascinating journey he’s had as a music icon for over 50 years.
Interviews include: Michael MacDonald, Kevin Bacon, Richard Marx, Jimmy Messina, David Foster, Clive Davis, and more ….
After shooting for over 2 years, we were just about to wrap production on the film last spring, when we decided to extend the shooting period in order to capture several very special events, including Kenny’s final Concert on November 4th, 2023!

Why We Need Your Support
Capturing 50 years of an extraordinary life of epic creation is quite an undertaking. The work to track down and clear the archival footage alone is a monumental task. Given the decision to capture additional footage and extend the editing, archival and post production work, we need some additional funding to complete the film.
But it’s much more than that…
For 50 years, Kenny has given us all tremendous joy. His music has been the ‘soundtrack to our lives’. It just feels right that we all join forces to create a film chronicling his life’s work!
